Right of Withdrawal for Consumers

(1) If you are a consumer (i.e., a natural person who places the order for purposes that are neither commercial nor self-employed professional), you have the right to withdraw from the contract under the conditions described by law.

(2) If you exercise your right of withdrawal as a consumer according to paragraph 1, the return shipment within Germany will be free of charge for you. Please use the return label available in the returns portal. For returns from abroad, you bear the regular costs of the return shipment.

(3) Otherwise, the regulations on the right of withdrawal as detailed in the following withdrawal instruction apply.

(4) The right of withdrawal does not apply, unless otherwise agreed by the parties, to the following contracts:

• Contracts for the delivery of goods that are not prefabricated and for which an individual selection or determination by the consumer is decisive or which are clearly tailored to the personal needs of the consumer,

• Contracts for the delivery of goods that can spoil quickly or whose expiration date would be quickly exceeded,

• Contracts for the delivery of sealed goods that are not suitable for return for reasons of health protection or hygiene if their seal was removed after delivery,

• Contracts for the delivery of goods that have been inseparably mixed after delivery due to their nature,

• Contracts for the delivery of alcoholic beverages whose price was agreed at the time of contract conclusion but which can be delivered no earlier than 30 days after the conclusion of the contract and whose current value depends on fluctuations in the market that are beyond the control of the entrepreneur,

• Contracts for the delivery of audio or video recordings or computer software in a sealed package if the seal was removed after delivery,

• Contracts for the delivery of newspapers, magazines or periodicals, with the exception of subscription contracts.

Right of Withdrawal

You have the right to withdraw from this contract within 30 days without giving any reason.

The withdrawal period is 30 days from the day on which you or a third party named by you, who is not the carrier, takes possession of the goods. To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must inform us

by means of a clear statement (e.g., a letter sent by post, fax, or email) of your decision to withdraw from this contract. You may use the attached sample withdrawal form, but it is not mandatory. You can also complete and submit the sample withdrawal form or another clear statement electronically on our website www.vonmaehlen.com. If you use this option, we will promptly send you an acknowledgment of receipt of your withdrawal (e.g., by email).

To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient for you to send your communication concerning your exercise of the right of withdrawal before the withdrawal period has expired.

Effects of Withdrawal

If you withdraw from this contract, we shall reimburse to you all payments received from you, including delivery costs (except for the supplementary costs resulting from your choice of a type of delivery other than the least expensive standard delivery offered by us), without undue delay and in any event not later than 30 days from the day on which we receive the notification of your withdrawal. We will carry out such reimbursement using the same means of payment as you used for the initial transaction, unless you have expressly agreed otherwise; in any event, you will not incur any fees as a result of such reimbursement. We may withhold reimbursement until we have received the goods back or you have supplied evidence of having sent back the goods, whichever is the earlier.

You must return the goods without undue delay and in any event not later than 30 days from the day on which you communicate your withdrawal from this contract to us. The deadline is met if you send the goods before the period of 30 days has expired.

You bear the direct cost of returning the goods.

You are only liable for any diminished value of the goods resulting from handling other than what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics, and functioning of the goods.
