The foundation of our sustainable business practices is formed by the principles of the United Nations Global Compact. Its 10 principles cover labor standards, human rights, environmental protection, and anti-corruption. These principles are reflected in all our business activities.

All our sustainability efforts are aligned with the 17 Sustainable Development Goals. These goals were defined as part of Agenda 2030 to ensure global peace and prosperity for people and our planet. We have examined our impact on the goals and identified how we can improve in line with their targets. Through this analysis, we were able to identify focus goals. Every measure we implement as part of our sustainability strategy has a direct or indirect impact on achieving these focus goals.
Therefore, the 17 Sustainable Development Goals are fundamental to our strategy and the planning of all our measures in the areas of climate protection, social justice, and governance.

Our understanding of sustainability is holistic. We consider ecological, social, and economic aspects to promote a sustainable future.
What makes our products environmentally sustainable?
A reduced product carbon footprint through recycled materials, FSC-certified and size-optimized packaging, efficient transportation methods, and a manufacturer that recognizes its environmental impact and takes responsibility.
What drives us?
Intrinsic motivation. Commitment to sustainability and social justice can only be successful if it is truly understood and genuinely desired. Since the beginning of 2023, we have come a long way. Sustainability is now deeply embedded in our company culture.
What reduction target are we pursuing?
We aim to reduce our total CO2e emissions by 70% by 2030 and by 90% by 2045.
Why have we decided against compensation?
We have decided against compensation because we believe that reducing our own emissions is the most effective way to make a sustainable contribution to climate protection. Offsetting external savings against our own emissions does not support achieving long-term reduction goals.
Which experts support us in this mission?
We have an in-house CSR manager and collaborate with experts and organizations such as UNGC, SBTi, amfori, FSC, WWF, as well as specialized partners for reporting and decarbonization strategies. Their guidelines are decisive for the direction of our strategy.
How do we promote social justice?
All our suppliers are monitored through BSCI audits to ensure compliance with our social standards. Together with the regional diversu e.V. in Lüneburg, we hold anti-discrimination workshops for our employees. Additionally, we are signatories of the Diversity Charter.
